OptOut Atlas explains how to remove yourself from people-search and data-broker sites for free, one site per guide.

We're independent

We aren't owned by, and don't work for, any people-search site or paid data-removal service. Most guides on this topic are written by companies that sell removal subscriptions. We think you should be able to read the free do-it-yourself route first.

Every guide is dated

Opt-out forms change without notice. Each guide shows a "sources last verified" date and lists the sources we checked. When we can't confirm something directly on the broker's own site, the guide says so and names the source we relied on. We don't publish timelines or numbers we can't attribute to a source.

Things change

If a step no longer matches what you see on the site, trust the site in front of you and check the date at the top of the guide. Opting out doesn't guarantee your information stays down. Many people-search sites rebuild listings from new records, so plan to check again.
